During summer visits as a child, accompanying her grandfather around his construction sites on Hilton Head Island, Kris loved envisioning what the rough, framed-spaces would inevitably shape into.  She believes Interior Design is a science that blends creativity with client's individuality and own unique conditions for living.  A graduate of Western Carolina University’s accredited School of Interior Design, she concentrated and minored in sustainable building methods and Fine Art.  She is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers.

Kris has called dynamic Asheville, NC home since 2003 and has enjoyed a fast-paced career; keeping-up with Asheville’s growing demand for beautiful & functional interiors in both residential & commercial environments.  During her career, she's completed varying projects from renovations & new construction of custom homes awarded in Asheville’s Home Builder’s Association’s annual ‘Parade of Homes’, healthcare design and corporate offices, to highly popular local restaurants & brewery establishments.

Kris loves incorporating art into her projects and collaborating with local furniture makers & artists alike to create that one-of-a-kind piece for clients.  She believes that good design is a result of thoughtful planning, listening to client’s needs, and collaborating with builders, creating results just as unique as the person inhabiting the space.

"Interior Designers are the facilitators

of a client's vision;

the conduit of ideas into tangibility."
